Yangon Bagan Package Tour 5 Days 4 Nights

Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Arrive in Yangon where you will be welcomed by your local tour guide and transferred to your hotel to drop off your luggage. If you arrived by mid day flight, we may proceed for lunch. After lunch, a walk through “downtown” Yangon, a diverse mix of faded colonial architecture from the British times, and high-rises built by more recent investors; “Sule Pagoda”, built in the early 3rd century is a landmark in the city centre.

Late afternoon visit the magnificent “Shwedagon Pagoda” of Rudyard Kipling fame and one of Myanmar’s most sacred places. The massive bell shaped stupa is plated with gold and the tip of the stupa is set with diamonds and rubies, sapphires and topaz – a stunning sight as the sun sets and a most fitting place to begin our trip in this “Golden Land”. Overnight at the Hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon/Bagan by flight
This morning we head for the airport to get the early morning flight to Bagan. Check into the hotel and depart for a sightseeing excursion around the Bagan Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area. A comprehensive exploration of Bagan includes Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansittha Umin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century and Htilominlo Temple.

In the afternoon, after a visit to lacquer ware workshops; continue to Manuha Temple built by exile King Manuha; Nanphaya, said to have been the residence of King Manuha; Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi colour mural paintings. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from one of the temple of Bagan. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day 3: Bagan Touring
After breakfast, we will visit to “Phwar Saw” village. Named for Queen Phwar Saw (c1237 AD), who was famed for her wisdom, intelligence and devotion to Budhism, the village contains more than 100 houses, as well as a dozen lacquer ware workshops. A textile  and handmade souvenir shop owner at Phwar Saw.

After lunch , visit Sulamani Temple – was built in 1181 by Narapatisithu(1174-1211).This temple was known as “crowing jewel” and it stands beyond Dhammayangyi Pagoda.This temple is a more sophisticated temple than the Htilominlo and Gawdawpalin ,Thatbyinnyu Temple –built by King Alaungsithu(1113-1163)(11th century) , Nathlaung Kyaung (A.D 931) –its means “Shrine Confining Nats or Spirits,a reference to a purported time when King Anawratha tried to banish Nat worship in Bagan , Gawdawpalin Temple(11 century) –was built by King Narapatisithu after building the Sulamani Temple. But the king did not complete the construction. It was completed by his son Htilominlo. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Bagan – Yangon by flight
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Nyaung U airport for flight back to Yangon. On reaching to Yangon, transfer to your hotel for check in and for refreshment. After that visit Bogyoke Aung San Market for souvenir shopping. The name of the market in British administration is Scott Market in honor of Municipal Commissioner Mr.Scott and established in 1920 at the land plot of Cinema Hall ( Elephant Stone & Cinema De Paris being demolished later ).

After lunch , drive to “Chauk Htet Gyi” reclining Buddha its enormously 65 meters long. And proceed to “ Kandawgyi Lake” , a royal lake since before 1877 and used to supply the water to residents living around there in British occupation. A night view of a royal barge with full of Myanmar Architecture are hit it off with the spectacular view of Shwedagone Pagoda. Return to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Yangon Departure
After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and will set you down at Yangon

International Airport Departure Lounge to capture your return flight on time .
